The moment was on a drive home.

They had spent the day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, admiring the vast sea and some of its most fascinating creatures. A marine biologist proceeded to talk about companionship and the plight of a lonely sea otter. The otter was young and was not able to experience life to the fullest alone. The staff recognized the desire for companionship and decided to bring an older, more mature otter to serve as a companion for the young otter. Teach it about life, lead it on new journeys and adventures, and most notably- to be there for it. Sometimes the mere presence of your mate is enough to calm even the roughest waters.

It was on that drive home that Cristin realized that Matt was her “Companion Otter”. She knew that life with him as her companion was the life she wanted to live. Despite the fact that he slept a majority of the ride home, it was at that moment that she knew his mere presence in her life was what made it full. Any fear of loneliness dissipated and they both clung to the joys of companionship and future adventures together.

Matt and Cristin wed at the absolutely breathtaking Flood Mansion in San Francisco. Their wedding was nothing short of absolute perfection. From the venue to the details to the lighting, every single aspect was flawlessly executed thanks to the amazing talents of Kathryn with Dream a Little Dream Events. Matt and Cristin opted to do a First Look which allowed us more time to explore the property and take some breathtaking, fun, and fabulous photos. There was a timeless beauty to everything about the wedding that was like a breath of fresh air.

Matt and Cristin, thank you so much for choosing Blaine and I to be part of your wonderful day! I hope that you are enjoying soaking up sun in Aruba:)!!!
