Words cannot even begin to adequately express the magnitude of emotions that I encountered while witnessing my SheShe become a bride. The deep love and admiration I have for her is so strong that I often struggle to find words to even begin to paint the picture of my love for her. She truly is one of the most special, genuine, humorous, and loving inhabitants of this planet.

TL put so much time and effort into making the big day uniquely hers and CJ’s. From the handmade centerpieces to the earrings she handcrafted for each bridesmaid, the day was flawlessly imprinted with their vision and creativity.

Watching CJ and TL’s love become formalized and made eternal hit me with more emotion that I could have ever anticipated. The day was bubbling with joy, energy, kisses, and giggles. They got married in the most precious chapel architected by Julia Morgan (yes, one and the same as the architect of Hearst Castle) and the reception was at the glorious Hakone Gardens. It was an epic day that could not have been more perfect if angelbabies themselves flew down to the reception.

I wanted to be able to enjoy TL’s day and support her as a sister, not a photographer. I was thrilled that I was able to shoot a few portraits but for the large majority just experience the day as one of the two most fabulous Matrons of Honor of all time (and self-appointed Queen of the Dance Floor!).

Ryan Ray was on deck and I am more than certain that all of his photos will not disappoint and will bring to life all of the details TL worked so hard creating! He was the perfect southern gentlemen and a wonderful addition to our crazy family dynamic… I don’t think he really knew how to respond when one of his first interactions with Jessie was her stating, “You were warned about me, RIGHT?”

TL and CJ, I love you both and I am so excited to see your life together unveil its many adventures!!!!
