It is intoxicating.
Captivating.
Mesmerizing.

It brings joy to the weary, and smiles to the hopeless romantics. And when young love blossoms and deepens to the point that your soul cannot live without it, it is as close to magic as many will see in this lifetime.

Scott and Mandy are the epitome of the magic of young love. They fell in love when they were in college and have been together ever since. The love they have for one another is evident without even hearing them utter a word about one another- you can sense it even from the way they look at one another. And despite the fact that they are long distance a majority of the year, they are able to grow and cherish their relationship in a way that puts many of us to shame (I about have a meltdown when Blaine leaves town for the weekend!).

S&A, I hope that these photos are able to make the distance seem a little less painful…. and to serve as a reminder how soon the big day will be here! Can’t wait… love you both!

Timing can be the most beautiful thing. When two individuals are brought together by what many would consider serendipitous standards, there is a level of excitement and glee that envelops the relationship. Forever grateful that the stars aligned that evening, Andre and Courtney are the perfect depiction of what gives hope to singles everywhere that “tonight could be the night I meet my match”.

Positively smitten with one another, Andre and Courtney give hope to the hopeless romantics that in a city bristling with people and chaos, you can find your serenity in another. They met in the city they grew to love, and it was only appropriate that we return to San Francisco to the streets where they met and fell in love.

Andre is a brilliant filmmaker (see his stuff {HERE}!), so I must confess that I was a bit nervous to impress on their shoot. I pray that I did our craft justice for you! I can’t wait for your big day!!!!

There is something extremely beautiful in a simplistic love story.

In this day and age there is an overwhelming number of love stories that involve quarrels, spats and tumultuous break ups only to be rekindled via some serendipitous occasion. When a couple tells me that they instantaneously were drawn to one another and have yet to be separated, it truly warms my heart.

St. John and Lauren have an seamless love. It is what I coin as a “1+1 = 2 Relationship”….. it just makes sense. It’s simple, it’s understandable, it works without complication. There is a calm presence they exude with one another. He brings her smiles, she brings him a calm. They are kind, genuine, and and most importantly… in love.

I can’t wait for your wedding next year! It is going to be fabulous!
